Update!

Hey all! Nick J. here, your friendly lead blogger here at Loading Checkpoint, ready to give you an update on the progress of our blog!

First off, I want to thank all of the readers we've had over the last few weeks. We've managed to get a respectable number of views over the last month (somewhere in the ballpark of 400), with traffic increasing every day! We really appreciate the support we've been given and hope that we can continue to produce entertaining and informative content to keep people coming back to Loading Checkpoint. I do want to apologize for the lack of articles last week -- we only posted the single preview for Medal of Honor: Warfighter -- but we have a few more articles in the pipeline for the next few weeks.

Also in the near future will be the inclusion of videos to the Loading Checkpoint weekly updates. We had some initial technical difficulties (and some slight interference from life) when getting started with our Dishonored and XCOM videos but we have gotten most issues sorted out and will be working on those and uploading them in the near future. Also in the works is a comparison between Chivalry and War of the Roses and perhaps even an editorial -- and let's not forget the continuation of Night and DayZ! All these things and more will be coming in the near future, so keep an eye out for them!

In news unrelated to the blog, I recently picked up Borderlands 2 -- a game I initially ignored, a decision I now regret -- and, between powering through Dishonored and kicking alien butt in XCOM, have been enjoying it immensely. I have been playing with Dallas, another of the contributors here at Loading Checkpoint, and we have been having some great times. What have you been playing recently?
